Spanish Swords
The Spanish sword usually featured a stylish handle with an intricately designed hand guard, such as a leaf in several colored and polished metals, for example. The scabbard was a sturdy piece, with steel trim and hooks that allowed for hanging on a wall. The quillons jutted far from the cup guard or shell guard, which made them very efficient for parrying. Our Spanish swords for sale are beautiful replicas made by the top modern sword makers. Our items are suitable for adorning your home or office, and are offered at prices that can compete with those of wholesale swords.

The Spanish sword was a very effective parrying weapon, due to its protruding quillons that reached way past the cup guard or shell guard. The handle was typically ornate, with the hand guard being a leaf of various colors, while the scabbard had metal trim and hooks for hanging on a wall. The Spanish conqueror design was used during the Peninsula War and this type of sword had a solid brass hilt, hand guard, and pommel. In addition, it was embellished with dragons, lions, and leather. The espada ropera was a Spanish sword developed in the middle of the 15th century. The term is used to refer to swords that were carried by civilians and not intended for use on the battlefield. The espada ropera was thinner, lighter, and more elaborate than earlier swords.
Some renowned Spanish swords include Tizona and Colada, personal swords of El Cid Campeador, and Jineta, which was carried by King Boabdil. Tizona was used by El Cid to fight the Moors in Spain. It still exists to this day and is now one of Spain’s most treasured relics. It is currently at the Museo de Burgos.
Our Spanish swords for sale are ideal for collections and home or office décor, and each item offers excellent quality and value.
