Connor MacLeod is The Highlander, one of the main characters in the Highlander film and television series. He is trained in swordsmanship and the ways of the Immortals by his mentor Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez. In the first film, Connor can be seen with a broadsword. After the deaths of Ramirez and his wife, Heather, he uses his sword as Heatherís grave marker and begins carrying his mentor's katana as a tribute.
