It is carried by the main protagonist of the story, Violet (played by Milla Jovovich), who is hell bent on seeking revenge on the people responsible for the disease that she suffers from and the loss of her husband and child. The appearance of the Ultraviolet movie sword is one of a kind because of its full tang, triple edged blade that's completely engraved with meticulously detailed inscriptions. This posed as a challenge for crafters to recreating the Ultraviolet swords precisely, and made a lasting impression to its beholders, whether they are familiar with the movie or not.
