I am a Vietnam vet, NOT a hardcase. I've lived in Hawaii for ten yrs and Sedona, Az. for five. I live in the San Fransico bay area now. I was a Nat Park Ranger, I was in Yellowstone in 88, fighting the fires. I use to ski(snow) and do scuba diving in mexico, Baja, sea of Cortez, Hawaii and Calif. I am a child of the 60's, but not a fool.I am a realist. I've lived in Sedona, Az. New Mexico and Hawaii, I came back to Oakland, Ca. because of my grandchildren living here.

I have a BA in Philosophy, I love research and I like reading. Ancient history and cultures is a favorite. Am well read onToaism, Buddism, hebrew and hindu. I like what Mark Twain said when asked if he was a Christian."If I were, I would be the only one".I do not like fakes, lairs and hyoppcrates. I've been a vegetarian for about forty years. Meat makes me sick. I am interested in anything out of the box. My major interest is ancient history and particularly Egyptian history and alternative history. I believe ancient history will be completely rewritten in the coming years. I think Dec.21 2012 is a date most are not prepared for and will be shocked by!

So far, I own an 1860 Cavalry sword, made from carbon steel, from True Swords. They are a good company.
1830 Napoleon Saber from Cold Steel. High Carbon Steel and sharp! Will be my favorite for now.
I bought a Musashi 1060 High Carbon Steel sword with clay temper (55 HCR hardness) and real Hamon, it also has duel pegs. Right after I ordered it, it sold out.
I just bought the "Scottish Sword" from Valiant Armoury, it's a great sword! It has that Highlander feel.
I like some movie swords aswell. Like Ultraviolet and Highlander (the katana).

Anyone interesting, and to learn as much as I can about swords. Where to find them, how to maintain them. I really like the sabers, Civil War and in general. There are some movie swords I like, such as Highlander, Ultraviolate, Heroes etc... I like the Katana swords, planning on getting one in time.
