Laws concerning sword ownership, in the wake of gun control.

Well, here in the USA, there has been talk of stricter gun control. I have been to NZ, and there if I remember correctly, the police cannot even have a gun. I have heard it is the same in UK. Also I read recently In UK you cannot own a sword unless you are a licensed SCA, or card carying martial arts instructor. It may wind up that way, everywhere. There are those who believe weapon control laws will put a stop to violent crimes.

In a prison, the prisoners find a way to make weapons out of anything they can find, so has the lack of weapons stopped anything? No. Weapon control laws only take weapons out of the hands of honest people.

Right now in the US, we have had gun registration for years. If the government ever comes to take our guns, they will know right where to go and get them... to the house of any registered gun owner. Well they haven't started sword registration yet, so buy them while you can, folks. A well made sword makes a good piece to decorate your wall with, and can be readily deployed as a home defence weapon. One good thing is it doesn't have to be registered, cops and crooks alike won't know that it is there unless you have to defend your home and family. Go online or to the library and study on the local self defense laws, though. If you are in Texas it is called the Castle Law. Castle Law... I like that... perfectly fitting for a home owner to defend his castle under the Castle Law with a sword.

And Remember, your sword wont run out of bullets.
